Lyn LaVigne is an ordained minister and retired Lecturer/Adjunct Professor. She served in various capacities over the last forty years as Bible teacher, historian, pastor and missionary. In 1979, Lyn was called to serve in missions and for fourteen years she worked in South Texas and throughout Mexico. During the 1980s, through the ministry Lyn co-founded, hundreds of refugees were fed, clothed, and housed after they fled revolution in Nicaragua and El Salvador. Ministers of the gospel were trained, sent out and churches planted during that time. Lyn earned her Master’s Degree in American history and World Civilization at the University of Texas, Edinburg. Three years of post Master’s studies were completed at Texas A&M University, College Station.
